Welcome to Every Sphere
Thanks for stopping by my website.
My name is Dale Tedder and I am a pastor at Southside United Methodist Church. I am married to Suzanne, and we have four wonderful children. I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams. I enjoy teaching God's Word, helping folks grow spiritually, assisting men in understanding what it means to pursue godliness in the various spheres of their lives, serving folks entrusted to me via pastoral care, and writing. Hopefully, those emphases will be evident here at the website.
I belong to a spiritual fellowship called, The Fellowship of Ailbe, which provides many helpful resources that encourage and assist Christians in their relationship with Christ and what it means to faithfully follow him.

One of the understandings I came to early in my ministry, one that ended up revolutionizing both my ministry as well as my personal faith, was finally beginning to grasp what it means to call Jesus Christ the Lord of every sphere of life. I say "beginning to grasp" because I continue to learn and grow in my understanding. Thankfully, God continues to lead and guide me in my understanding of this vital truth... as well as its application in my life.
Over the last couple of years, I watched this video by Ken Boa and read this article by Glenn Sunshine that unpacked the depth of meaning found in the Celtic Cross. I encourage you to read the article first and then watch the video. Both undergirded what I have been learning from TM Moore at The Fellowship of Ailbe, which is built upon the Celtic spiritual tradition.
My tag line, "every sphere of life," came to me years ago as I began comprehending the consequences of what it means to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, as well as the ramifications of the all-encompassing nature of his Kingdom. Those themes, as you will notice, show up in most of my writing and ministry.
Thanks again for stopping by.
Blessings,
Dale Tedder
