Walking Points Podcast: Episode 29
This week Ian and I continue talking about what it means to be a peacemaker and where it all begins. Christian peacemaking is a God-centered approach to resolving personal conflicts. Thus, we have to start with the most important part, which is, seeking God's glory, even in the midst of conflict.

If you are a follower of Christ, you are ordained. Perhaps you have never seen yourself that way before, but it's true. You may be an ordained mom or dad, barista or elementary school teacher, or mechanic or lawyer. This is part of what we call, the priesthood of all believers. This week Ian and I explore what it means to represent and serve Christ as "priests" in our various spheres of influence.
The text we interact with is 1 Peter 2:9-10. "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." The following links will take you to some great books that also focus on today's topic, Calling or Career. They will be helpful in that they will go into greater depth than we were able to on today's podcast.
